some winter retail therapy

It’s been a hot minute since my last post - between January being the longest month (year) ever and a house full of stomach bug putting us out of commission for a few, I’m ready for spring. With January in the books, and now February not far behind, I needed a little retail therapy to make it through the last few weeks.

A few of my recent buys:

Leopard booties - these just came in the mail today. They’re growing on me, but I’m not 100% convinced I’m keeping them. They just fit, so I may want to exchange for one size up. The heel height is decent and they are a great statement shoe. They are also a higher bootie in the ankle than I’m used to but got them on ridiculous sale, so that’s a plus.

International city tee - I’m a sucker for a cute graphic tee, especially one with international cities! I ordered a size up than my normal size for a looser fit. The cotton is super soft - again - got on super sale. J. Crew has sales often, so be sure to check out their latest (25% off, or 35% if you spend $150+), and join their rewards and you get free shipping!

Pink herringbone pants - I was looking for some fun spring wardrobe additions, and these fit the bill. They hit me mid-shin, so a little shorter than I would like, however I love the herringbone pattern, and they are very comfortable for work pants. I might let the hem out for an added inch in the inseam. I joined the H&M rewards program, and they send deals and discounts quite frequently.

Distressed Skinny Jeans - yes, I jumped on the ripped jean bandwagon, and haven’t looked back. Got these for $25, and love the fit. The color is going to be great for spring and summer and you can’t beat the price. I only really wear jeans on the weekends when I give leggings a break, so they don’t get much wear and tear. Hopefully they’ll last. And bonus, they come in tall! Old Navy has a sale going on now as well. If you recently purchased clothing from there, then you'll have Super Cash to use, plus 20% off everything.

Too Faced Concealer - I was using the Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant concealer, but was looking for more coverage. Then I bought the smaller version of the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer and have been super impressed with the consistency and the lasting coverage. Will be ordering the full size soon. A little pricy, but worth it. I purchased the shade Snow.

e.l.f Lip plumping gloss - I had previously purchased this in the Champagne Glam shade, s but on a recent Target run, was craving a new lippie, so picked up Mocha Twist for a cool $6. It’s a darker neutral and gives a tingly feeling. A solid purchase.

Any other great deals or buys out there I should try?
